With the summer holidays coming to an end it’s time to start thinking about going back to school (and work!). With lunchboxes to pack and snacks to think about, these little goodies are easy to make, delicious and packed with protein to keep hunger at bay. With chunks of our caffeine-free, no refined sugar carob bars they’re great for when you need a sweet fix but don’t want your blood sugar levels to spike and crash!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup oats
  • 2 scoops protein powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
  • 2 tablespoons nut butter
  • 2 tablespoons almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 x 44g Supertreats bar (your choice of flavour!), chopped into tiny pieces

Get making!

  1. Mix together the oats, protein powder and cinnamon in a large bowl.
  2. Gently melt the coconut oil, honey or maple syrup and nut butter then pour into the dry ingredients along with the almond milk and vanilla.
  3. Mix well to form a dough. Stir in the chopped Supertreats pieces.
  4. Divide into 10-12 balls and roll using your hands. Chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour – then enjoy!

Keep any remaining balls in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
