Christmas is a time for indulging – and we encourage that! However be aware of consuming TOO much sugar as you will just feel lethargic and slugish at a time when you will want to be celebrating and enjoying the festivities! That’s why these easy but effective little treats are ideal to make and serve around this time of year: Packed with oats, dates and spices, topped with our melted Silky Milky bar and decorated to look like mini Christmas puddings, these are sure to be a hit in any household – ho ho ho!


For the mini puddings -

  • 200g rolled oats
  • 100g dates, soaked in hot water for 10 minutes
  • 100 walnuts or almonds
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 4 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons mixed spice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

To decorate -

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 2 x Silky Milky Supertreats bars, broken into chunks
  • Dried cranberries
  • Pumpkin seeds
  • Edible glitter (optional!)


Get making!

  1. Make the mini puddings: Simply place all of the ingredients into a food processor and whizz up for at least 30 seconds until a soft dough-like texture forms.
  2. Divide into 12 and roll into balls. Place on a lined tray and pop in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Place the puddings onto a wire rack. Gently melt the coconut oil and Supertreats then spoon over each mini pudding to just about cover. Decorate each one with a few dried cranberries and pumpkin seeds on top.
  4. Return to the fridge and leave to set for at least 30 minutes.
  5. When ready to serve, spray with edible glitter then enjoy straight from the fridge!
